Provided the financial statements reflect the real accounts, you can proceed further. Without them, you have nothing.

A valuable stock's price appreciation can take 10 years. It may also never happen or the profits can be transferred to another firm before price increase realization!

Due diligence of accounts and making public realize value is everything!
