Started playing #VampireSurvivors on my #SteamDeck at about 4pm.

Was playing on and off while making my pasta at 4:30-5pm (but screen was on).

5-6pm I didn't play on Steam Deck

6-9pm/now I managed to play until the Steam Deck shut down with 15%.

Not bad, considering I was also playing Spotify in the background too!

I am looking on various websites to see what the landbastards are attempting to gouge out of their next victims, but they haven't put it up yet, probably because they now actually have to FIX the issues they promised us they'd sort out when they acquired the place back in January

Anyway my downtime has mostly been spent playing #VampireSurvivors and #MasterDuel and I think that's what I'm gonna get back to now

So Vampire Survivors landed on Switch and it is a thing.

The Castlevania nerd in me loves the references.

For a good while it was fun playing with the mechanics.

But I found that ultimately it becomes a numbers game. Your damage output needs to stay ahead of the enemy health pool, and that's about it.

When I eventually beat the first level, I got a viable build by the 20 minute mark and literally put the controller down for the next 9 minutes. (FWIW I did have to do some dodging in the last minutes)

Also it was $6, so I can hardly complain.

Już za tydzień, 17 sierpnia, na Switchu pojawi się "Vampire Survivors" - niezależna produkcja, która zgarnęła prawie 200 tysięcy "przytłaczająco pozytywnych" opinii na Steamie od momentu wydania jej w grudniu 2021 roku w ramach wczesnego dostępu .

Czy w ogóle jest ktoś, kto nie słyszał o tej produkcji autorstwa Poncle, w której naszym jedynym zadaniem jest przetrwać kolejne fale potworów? 😉

Wersja na Switcha zawierać będzie wszystkie do tej pory wydane darmowe dodatki oraz wprowadza kanapowy co-op do 4 graczy. Dostępne będą też dwa płatne DLC: "Tides of the Foscari" i "Legacy of the Moonspell" (każdy po 7,99 PLN).

Is there a name for games like #VampireSurvivors yet? Like a cohesive one. I've heard reverse bullet hell, VS-like, auto shooter, and survivor. Either way, I'm addicted to them. #ArmyOfRuin is the most recent one I've tried, and for $8 it's a lot of fun.

Had my first absolutely BONKERS run on #VampireSurvivors where I managed to get so many items and evolutions.

It was completely shredding everything at the end haha, what a power fantasy!

Not my first 30:00 clear, but the first where I was so powerful it was an absolute joke. Super fun!

Close to 4 hours in #VampireSurvivors and my best time is 15:08, had to start running at 14:00 because I couldn't kill anything anymore.
