CPTSD 2023
Patient presents as resistant to treatment. Insists CBT is ineffective against CPTSD. I agreed success rate was low, but maintained CBT as best option for him. He asked to see my credentials. Patient expressed a Vassar undergraduate degree explained my dress sense, but not my lack of imagination. Rather than press for explanation, I deescalated. Session ended early.

All that lovely light and air. But I spent much of my time at Vassar at a carrel in the stacks. Less time to swan around absorbing aesthetics for those on financial aid scholarships (although I had a wonderful stint as a junior curator in Vassar's ace gallery).
