While we're telling war stories, I designed an "e-mail" system based on #VAXmail in 1978 to facilitate communication with overseas groups/clients. I even had a #DEC #VT-100 at home to dial in. It came in handy when I got food poisoning at #BostonLogan and had to stay home for 2 weeks.
