The crisis in global pollinator decline has been associated with one species above all, the western honeybee. Honeybees are artificially-bred agricultural animals similar to livestock such as pigs and cows. But this livestock can roam beyond any enclosures to disrupt local ecosystems through competition and disease.

@lrp I doubt that costs for #veganFood would be lower if the person eats a lot of prepared vegan meat replacements. Those are very expensive and eaten , to my understanding, by new converts to #veganism.

As a scientist, I did a self-experiment to compare a #vegan diet with eating meat. Here’s what I found out.
Three years ago, I was briefly dating a primary school teacher who happened to be a part-time animal rights activist. The experience made me take a decision I’ve been living with ever since: #veganism. Things didn’t work out with the primary school teacher, but my initial commitment to veganism did last.

But, "chickpea curry, tofu stir-fry, lentil pasta"? Did he check that they're not ultra-processed foods (UPF)?
Event planning 2023
My initial request to the venue: "please provide either all vegan meals or vegetarian with a vegan option."
Their offer: "Here, vegetarian and non-vegetarian options."
My response: "The guests prefer vegetarian food and some are vegans. I suggest going all vegan to make things easier."
Them: "Here you go, all vegetarian meals!"
"Please make that all vegan."
"Okay, but then we need to inform the kitchen at least 2 weeks before."
"Please do that now."
