I deliberately haven't incorporated it too much into whatever my new online persona is here just yet, but on this day 7 years ago, after seeing some live talks on animal rights at the #Brisbane #Vegan Festival I decided to give this whole vegan for the animals thing a go and try spreading kindness and compassion for animals any time I can. What a long strange trip it's been. Anyway, happy 7th #veganniversary to me! 🥳

Today is my #veganniversary. I've been #vegan for seven years!

For me the environmental impact was the biggest motivation, with a touch of health (lactose intolerance was really kicking in in my 30s). As I've learned more the third pillar of avoiding animal suffering has also become very important to me.

I forget what underlying data Cowculator uses but it's kinda fun to peek every once and a while and see how big an estimated impact even one person can have!
