And today another Penny Farthing rider in Oslo actually contacted me via a DM on Mastodon!! 🤯
I also discovered there is a "Team Norway" at the yearly Penny Farthing event in Sweden, made up for 3 people.
Ok, that is actually awesome. I would love to join then but sadly I am busy around the time of the event

@sjn @notjustbikes Great to see so many places I recognise in my adopted home city. Yes more work is needed but if it is safe and/or quiet enough for unicyclists :unicycle: and penny farthing riders :penny_farthing:, we must be headed in the right direction. 😉

I took the #PennyFarthing again today as there isn't really any more (just a bit of ice), so I do not need the big tyres on my winter unicycle.
Like any other sensible cyclist, I try to pick my cycles to be most practical, given the current conditions.

Look at this really old¹ picture for a penny farthing in Oslo. Man they were crazy cycling around in weather like this back in the day. No concept of health and safety!
¹ Ok, this might have been taken on my commute today with a low quality camera and then a sepia filter applied. 🤷
