This photo of the #pagoda and #MtFuji near #Kawaguchiko on #Fujifilm #Fujichrome #Velvia100F is one that I am going to have to scan again and work on some more. There's something about the cloudy sky that looks really good when looking at the slide, but I can't get that to translate to the digital. Not yet anyway.

The fixed focal length of my #MediumFormat camera dictated this particular composition. Normally you see a wider photo of #RyuzuFalls — there is a whole second waterfall out of frame. Japan does an amazing job of building infrastructure for looking at beautiful things, and that means they are usually too crowded to enjoy. But this was a drizzly day that was perfect. #photography #LandscapePhotography #FilmPhotography

A #MtTakao #Sunset featuring #MtFuji from 2019 on #Fujifilm #Fujichrome #Velvia100f — 99% of my #MediumFormat #FilmPhotography is at this focal length, because it's on this camera with a fixed 90mm lens. So, this is a picture of Fuji on Fuji using a Fuji camera. I tried to get the Fugees in the foreground, but they didn't respond to my emails.
