#introduction. I teach math and data science (#Rstats) at a small liberal arts college in Kentucky. Undergraduate training was in analytic #philosophy and mathematical #logic, doctorate was in mathematics (#ergodictheory). Major side-interest include #Sanskrit philology, and history of Indian religion, mostly #Vendanta and classical #Yoga / #Tantra. #Plowshares disarmament activist (1980s). I practice #Ashtanga yoga and play with my rescue dog. My wife and I enjoy our three grown daughters.
