A #Texas sheriff’s department has recommended that the district attorney in Bexar County bring criminal charges over the first iteration of #Florida Gov. #RonDeSantis’ so-called migrant relocation program. Those flights last September sent 49 #asylum seekers, most of them #Venezuelans, from #SanAntonio to #MarthasVineyard, #Massachusetts.

Political ideology aside, it's inconvenient and downright unfair to citizens of both countries to not have access to their respective countries embassy. I, and countless other US citizens and visa seekers, am obligated to travel to Colombia to find a US embassy. Many #Venezuelans in the US must travel to Mexico City to renew their passport or solicit legal documentation necessary to maintain legal status in the US.
