#Venleitche Characters 5/5
Wygen vint Doro served 2 years in the military before her itchy feet got the better of her. She wandered into Skyler’s Bridge a year ago, and hasn’t moved on yet, but talks about it sometimes. It’s her Nature to go and see, and she’s seen most everything in the region. Besides, her relationship with Juniper is going to go up with one hell of a bang sooner or later, the way it does when Air & Fire mix, and she’d rather just travel on before it happens.

A quiet, strange child, Owl learned to read early, went through every book & scroll in the village by 9, when Fridin came in with a merchant, an elderly Sage too fragile to be traveling. He and Owl took to each other straight away, the child showing the first great joy in their life when Fridin opened his library trunk. Fridin died 3 years back. Owl took his ashes to the Inner Library at Varna, & came back with a Sage’s torc and a library trunk of their own.

Juniper went to the Fire Temple at Dorgo at 13, coming back 2 years ago when he had a vision. He led a patrol to some Glaucharkha that had stumbled on a viper bird colony. Both threats got sorted, & Juniper got a bag of silver with a suggestion he stay in the area as an unofficial military presence. Now if he could just sort his relationship with Wygen. When it’s good, it’s great, but it keeps getting out of control, and then there's throwing handy blunt objects.

Iltar Talnorellian moved into the area 3 years ago, after the fire up at Lavender Peak destroyed half of Pommsworth and left the land scorched. She’s still angry that her magic wasn’t up to protecting the village, ever since working hard at it. While she dresses more like a man than a woman, it’s for convenience, not identity. Her romantic interests are decidedly towards men, although like most, she’s not going to turn down a bit of sport just on the basis of plumbing.

Hawthorne trained at the shrine, tending more to the Goddess than the God as the years went by. She formally changed paths at fourteen, when it became obvious that the Goddess wasn’t going to have her grow up a man. The priestess collected five beer tokens from the priest to settle the bet, and the priest, who’d been grooming Brummage as Hawthorne’s probable replacement, notified the boy that he’d be the next priest, while Hawthorne would be the next priestess.
