For those of you who have been following along, the #VenturaProblem has been fixed with the release of #Apple #macOS Ventura 13.1, https://github.com/raspberrypi/pico-sdk/issues/1081#issuecomment-1352096325. Go and update your operating system and you'll once again be able to drag-and-drop UF2 files on to your #RaspberryPiPico and other #RP2040-based boards. https://www.raspberrypi.com/news/the-ventura-problem/

According to a comment on the ARMmbed/DAPLink issue on the #VenturaProblem, "…I've tested macOS Ventura 13.1 beta.4 and it looks like it resolves the issue," see https://github.com/raspberrypi/pico-sdk/issues/1081#issuecomment-1341027843.

I've not yet had a chance to check this myself, or heard anything directly back from the folks I'm talking to at #Apple, but if anyone that has access to #macOS beta releases wants to try out the latest beta and report back? #UF2 #RaspberryPi #RP2040

If you're following along with the #VenturaProblem, https://www.raspberrypi.com/news/the-ventura-problem/, just a quick note that according to a comment, https://github.com/ARMmbed/DAPLink/issues/982#issuecomment-1314447196, on the GitHub issue for ARM Mbed DAPLink thread on the problem, using cp -X fails to work for firmware files >1MB in size. Instead, you should use rsync which does work for larger files.
