The landlord takes up to 80% of space in the home and is completely oblivious to other people's feelings and needs. When she insults us, we're sensitive if we ask for respect. @RevEricBurrowsStone @WordyAnchorite I'm just gonna toss this out there: once you need rules for 'proper dialogue' you've already lost the game. Not that it's never winnable, but if you have to impose rules on how people speak to each other, imposing rules won't fix it.

Think OT Law vs NT heart.

How we speak to each other is a heart issue. Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.

Deal individually with the heart issues. Then try speaking from that heart.
