#Verbascum was the star of this show for a good number of weeks before I cut them back. I love love they epitomize the cut flower cottage garden for their delicate, whimsical inflorescences.

Der niedliche Borstige Blattschaber (#Cionus olens) ist, wenn man genau hinschaut, an #Königskerzen (#Verbascum) zu finden. Im Ruhrgebiet kann man ihn im Umfeld von Brachen finden.

Gerade #Verbascum, also die #Königskerzen kommen hervorragend mit geringen Niederschlägen zurecht.
Da sie sich auch reichlich versamen und ihre Plätze im #Garten selbst aussuchen,sind sie immer wieder für eine Überraschung gut und schenken uns jedes Jahr ein neues Gartenbild.
