After about a month's worth of work, the main figure is done printing. I'm working on the Super Veritech snap-on pieces now. Got the arms and the back boosters done, just need to finish the legs.

Every once in a while FB Marketplace gives you a pleasant surprise.

Tonight's surprise came in the shape of a half-forgotten longing, a #Robotech #Veritech.

#Macross Valkyrie from the Skull Squad with the Jolly Roger flag printed on the vertical stabilizer.

$8k MXN are not worth it since you can find a much better deal for a better built unit, better quality, better everything.

I'm pretty sure this is the one sold when I wasn't even 10 years old.

Collectors only I'm sure.

I just really liked drawing Valkyrie mecha in 1988.

@Planarian Wow, takes me back. I remember finding a buncha #veritech tiny single-mode miniature models like that at Kay Bee Toys back in the 90s... Nice work!

Stripping this and repainting it. It's kinda wet and gross in the first pic cuz it was covered with dust and I washed it. It was a dark primer and the decals are curling. Stripped it in Super Clean, pretty harmless for plastic minis. It's only about 2 inches long.
