Read my first Colleen Hoover book, Verity. Was very skeptical because I am not a romance reader and I know Hoover is a romance author. But Verity was recommended to me as a thriller, and I was shocked by how much I enjoyed it. 5/5 stars!

God's is great. Dieu est grand et dans sa grandeur il a voulu creer des êtres pour l'adorer en vérité mais le diable est venu s'opposer à Dieu et a pris une partie de la vérité et la détourner en mensonge. C'est pour cela qu'il a envoyé Jésus pour que ne succombe à cause des mensonges du diable Dieu est un tout dans un tout et Jèsus christ est la vérité. Toute la bible se résume à ça.

About 1/3 of the way thru Colleen Hoover's #Verity I was sure I'd figured out the ending. It would turn out that the husband had done the murders, including trying to kill the wife, and had written the "autobiography" to frame Verity. Maybe he'd even actually written all of Verity's books (which would explain the otherwise pointless references to the books being written from the villain's POV).

Alas, as bad as my imagined plot was, the actual plot is much dumber. Cannot recommend. #bookstodon

The one thing that will drag me out of program A: #Verity's #InDefenceOf. Anyone want to take bets on an impromptu musical happening this year? (hopefully one that I know and can join in on this time?)

Someone had stuck googly eyes above the start button. It looked as if it was in a state of perpetual surprise. A fitting marker for the Verity Gate.

Shia thought it was a little too on the nose. Blix, watching her expression with a small knowing smirk of his own, thought that Shia's faux cynicism was going to get her into a situation she couldn't handle one day, likely today.
