„Laisse béton“ is a verlan expression.

is a funny french . It’s own name already expresses what it means: „verlan“ is created by the french expression „l'envers“ (inverse): In the argot (among others) typically syllables are exchanged, so: „l'envers“ -> „verlan“.

„Laisse béton“ now in french means: „„Laisse tomber“: let it be, forget it.

Now this nice verlan streetart makes a little more sense 😉
