A Yellow-bellied Marmot (Marmota flaviventris) looks out from its burrow in Kekuli Bay Provincial Park near Vernon, British Columbia, Canada.
This was a lucky opportunity that wasn't photographed quite where you'd expect. I was sitting in my car waiting out a dump of rain and these marmots had a burrow right next to the parking lot!
