Not generally a fan of . That said, one minute, this 15-year-old kid is riding “shotgun” in the car with his friends on a summer’s day, the next, he’s flying face-first through a windshield. If you’re badly injured in a car accident in , and don’t have an oil well in the Back Forty, it’s GoFundMe.

He’s only 15. He should be a girl, not windshields. He has 6 broken ribs, 3 fractured , sliced-up face, collapsed a lung, torn liver & spleen, etc. Please , and spread the link if you can. Thanks in advance. (Caution: they posted a picture of him In hospital shortly after the accident, so prepare yourself.)

Did you get this? Yep, 12 thoracic vertebrae - these are the ones in your mid back, attached to your ribcage. This is the largest number in any one section of your spine. They have special articulations for each rib top and bottom to attach to to form the ribcage.

A vertebrae from one of the smaller cetacean species (whales and dolphins) found in Irish waters. At a guess I'd say it comes from a Common Dolphin (Delphinus delphis) or a Bottlnosed Dolphin (Tursiops truncatus). County Clare, Ireland.

New paper alert! The internal shape of in is correlated with their habitats. Pelagic fishes have narrower vertebral cones, which probably means they have stiffer backbone, which probably helps them swim continually. Benthic fishes have wider cones. The work was an senior thesis from Dana Baxter! dx.doi.org/10.1002/ece3.9499

Friday Log:
At first appearance it seemed as the department of had given up and compiled due to the ban of their cluster from all planning etc.

The mornings bodily logistics were much improved and the was pleasantly surprised being able to put socks on effortlessly.

Setback was registered 15 min later as the cooperation apparently wasn't sanctioned by all affected thus halting movement once again.
