After 40 years avidly reading #Fantasy & #ScienceFiction, I decided to try my hand at writing it. I started when I was 53, and a couple years later sold my first #ShortStory--and quite a few since!
I retired early from a software development career, so more time for writing, reading, hiking & metal detecting around #CedarGapMtn in north #Alabama.
My wife and I maintain a menagerie of *4* #cats, and from time to time I'll mention Tammy, who was a #VeryGoodDog.

This #SundayMorning was about #trailrunning and I finally saw a way to avoid a super rooted downhill in my loops. Met 4 #verygooddogs and one jumper that was a #verygooddog with a not so great owner. #sunrise
