Slowly recovering from an acute attack of vestibular neuritis. Bloody hell - as much I read about it in med school, I did not imagine that #vertigo can be so debilitating. Most awful thing #vestibularneuritis

I’m sharing this because I had vertigo for 5 months (over my 50th birthday, as it happens) and this describes it incredibly well. I didn’t have the euphoria and I’m kinda pissed about that. It was so frustrating to have people think that it was an easy fix, that they I was being dramatic, and that there weren’t lasting repercussions. It was bad. If it’s you, too, I get it. #vertigo #VestibularNeuritis
