In the UK, it's a classic if the community agree it's a classic. (but the community is often wrong ;) )

It can be registered as Historic (OldTimer) once it's 40 years old (no tax or MOT (TUV) test requirement).

Clubs say that veterans were built before 1905, and vintage if built between 1905 and 1930.
