The #victronenergy Phoenix inverters with eco mode are great to run a #fridge #offgrid e.g. from an old car battery charged from #solar panels ; this 12 | 500 just draws 65mA in eco mode (not inverting). The inverter powers on the AC output in configurable intervals and keeps it turned on as long as the power draw is above an adjuatable power level. As a modern fridge runs with a duty cycle of approx 20-30% the standby power consumption of the inverter affects the overall power consumption a lot. Fridge compressors draw a lot of initial power, so in my case I needed a 500W inverter (1kW peak) to drive a fridge that draws 60W during normal Operation.

VictronConnect for linux finds a charge controller without additional effort via UART and BLE. The charge controller outputs all its stats once per second in ASCII Format at 19200 baud

Uuuund ein weiterer #energiespeicher bzw #hausakku installiert (bei meinen Eltern 😎). Wie gehabt, 10,5 kWh #pylontech #US3000C und ein #victronenergy #Multiplus3000 . Akku und Wechselrichter sind ein top Team ✌️👌. Es besteht schon seit 12 Jahren eine #photovoltaikanlage mit ~24kWp.

Was ist da bloß bei meinen Eltern angekommen? ☺️

Most entries from https://www.victronenergy.com/upload/documents/CCGX-Modbus-TCP-register-list-2.90.xlsx end up with "Unavailable" in my HA interface. I only got 6 values working related to my BYD battery.

@Aschenbrenner At this point i only have 3 Jinko 415W panels installed. The #EcoFlow Delta Pro can only take 150V/15A or 1600W solar panel inputs. Its a mobile system.
But i’m now working on a more permanent install using #victronenergy

I have my entire motor coach automated using #HomeAssistant and an #RVC to #MQTT gateway I created ( a modified version of #CoachProxy, that I also created, later open sourced as #rvcproxy ). I've added dozens of sensors, thermostats, and power monitoring outlets, as well as integrated my #VictronEnergy inverters + 20kWh of #LiPo.

#RVC is a #CANBus protocol used in #RVs for control and monitoring.
