The chip is a NVIDIA GT200B from 2008 with 192 Cuda cores and 1GB of VRAM.
The GPU is baked by TSMC on 55nm. The architecture is Tesla 2.0.
It is It is about as powerful as the GTX 260. But with more VRAM as usual:)

Seeking advice... I'm going to get a new PC workstation for playing #videogames and general #development and #programming in advance of the #Starfield release this September and whenever the new #CitiesSkylines drops. #videogames #programming

My current machine is seven years old, can't be upgraded to #Windows 11, and has a GTX 1060 #videocard. It's... fine, I guess. The only real pain point I have is when using #Blender. I can't use Cycles when doing any work, and rendering anything it takes... a while.

I'll probably do some streaming or recording while playing, so I'll need to go well above any system requirements for the games.

Any tips or recommendations? Preferred brands? Things to avoid? I'm wanting at least 32GB of ram. Would a GTX 3060 be okay for this?
