Versuchen gerade den Anfang von #ViennaBlood zu ertragen. Super gute Ausstattung (Kulissen und Kleidung), aber dieser Flickenteppich aus sperrig-schlaftablettig vor sich hin murmelnden Schauspieler*innen und Versatzstücken anderer Serien. Puh, schwer erträglich.

I know it's been out for a while, but is anyone else watching Vienna Blood? I quite like it. I'm also marveling at how precisely Jürgen Maurer/"Oskar Rheinhardt" enunciates. His words come out so precisely.

Thank God there's another season of #viennablood that dropped.

Wait, what? Episode 3 of season 3 of #ViennaBlood paints a—let me put it mildly—somewhat fringe picture of the Austrian Revolution of March 1848, that led to the toppling of the Metternich regime. The episode makes it look like it was a German nationalistic affair only. Which it was not, not by far. Well, it obviously fits the narrative of the episode. Coincidentally, the English Wikipedia article has the same spin, while the German one is much more nuanced. Ah well, #presentism :blobcatshrug:

I've watched 2 episodes of Vienna Blood aka Sherlock Holmes off Wish.
Plotholes and ridiculous leaps to nonsensical conclusions.

I rate the sexual tension between the doc & the woman he "cures" as somewhere between flaccid and dead.

Why is the detective's voice is growly & louder than everyone else's? Has he been badly dubbed?

Why do the Austrian people speak English with Austrian accents? This is shown in Austria. How does that make any sense?
