I played #VillageGreen and it’s a great little game. A nice crunchy little puzzle sees players planning out the moves village Green with flowers, ponds and more. You choose the scoring cards for each row and column but the greenery can only be placed following certain rules. You play against other people but also against yourself and the decisions you made earlier in the game that now mess things up later on. Lots of fun

This autumnal carpet of dead leaves caught my eyes.
The Scots have a word for a "circle of rotted dead leaves round the foot of a tree": "Rain-rot". Not to be confused with the modern useage for an equine skin disease.
