Nachdem ich nun jedoch Anfang der Woche den Einstieg in #i3wm erfolgreich geschafft habe und heute den #vimtutor https://vimschool.netlify.app/introduction/vimtutor/ enddeckt habe, glaube ich, dass das wirklch was mit uns beiden werden kann.

@kaiiak @valsan :x is the shortcut for :wq. #Vim (vi) is a very powerful editor once you get the hang of it. I recommend learning to use it. There are guides, tutorial and even the #vimtutor command for an interactive walkthrough. Most other editors also support vim keybinds and its modal editing because it is so effective. Personally I use #Spacemacs https://www.spacemacs.org/ the great #Emacs editor ecosystem of plugins with vim keybindings. So to summarize: it is totally worth learning Vim.

As other misguidance when it comes to how long something will take you, VIM Tutor informed me it will me take me 20-30 minutes to go through the tutorial. To read a 970-line tutorial file alone without trying out to use Vim would take longer than that. The whole tutorial will likely take me a few hours in total instead.
