More #vinecutting with Bob Deltorto. When too old to do this will get truck to fill with gear and organize. Also learned some #tacticalUrbanism of massing piles of debris near road where wind may blow into roadway or drivers will ask highway department to remove. (Parks department is not funded as well)

More #VineCutting today. Heard a new one . We are not to cut too close to the homes because invasive vines cover the view of the #BronxRiverParkway. Welcome to @TheWarOnCars . Time to remove the parkway. It is very odious. Was told the parkway would be there forever. Certainly if no one talks about it's removal.

I will be #vinecutting this weekend. Last night I was asked why. An excellent question. I had a good answer but the bottom line is that vines I cut only grow on the edges of forests. Roads for cars create lots of edges. Invasive vines are a car problem. Money spent to control vines should be paid for by road users.
