#VintageGuitar #Restored When my dad died a few years ago I got his old guitar, on which I strummed my first chords back when I was 16. He used to tell me that the guitar is older than me, so I did a little digging -- it's a 1960 Framus Studio 5/51. It used to have a pickup, but the plate broke, so my dad removed it, and later on it was unfortunately lost. I took the guitar to a repair shop to get it re-electrified, and yesterday it was done. So here it is in its renewed glory:

I just finished a fret dress on this 1968 Gibson Country Western Model. It's a super neat #guitar Some things to point out, it originally had an adjustable saddle. The slot has since been filled in and routed for a more traditional saddle. The "top-belly" bridge is bolted on, and designed to help withstand the pull of the strings.
