The things you have on your shelf...

This lovely old ZX81 was given to me several years ago. I never owned one originally, my dad instead saved his pennies and bought a BBC B.
I'm feeling the need to do something with it.
So if I can ask the ZX81 collective fan club hive mind, where's a good place to start with one of these?

Found an old photo of my Model B, Sanyo Monitor and Epson RX-80FT printer.
Sometime in the mid 80s I think.

Can't remember exactly what I was doing on it here but I was hacking something into Wordwise by the look of it.

Sadly it was all sold off a few years later to make way for a boring beige PC box.

Had chance to hook up a Z80 2nd Processor to one of my masters.
Given to me as part of my recent haul. A nice pile of manuals and the original system disks. Not touched CP/M for decades.

A very nice looking Model B, a couple of disk drives, two 2nd processors- one I'm told is a Z80 and a big old pile of manuals.

The question now is what to tell my wife....

Like many of us of a certain age, I cut my programming teeth on BASIC. Firstly on a TRS-80 that my dad bought home one day. That micro was pretty quickly replaced with a BBC B. As I got older I dabbled a little with 6502 assembler, but was never very proficient with it. One day in our local computer shop I discovered 'Forth on the BBC Micro' and bought a copy. I still have it, along with a reasonable collection of Forth books!
