if you're doing some #RetroComputing and you come across a hardware+OS and you run into difficulty entering dates because of may beY2K or other date limitations, then one trick you can apply is to use dates that are multiples of seven years back in time. E.g. 28 years or 35 years will get you a year that has the same weekdays as this year.
