The bit with the lions on is actually a flap, so a token or note could be enclosed in the front of the card. If he did, it's lost.

Sent from Julie to Jan to say they are having a nice time in Marlo, her dad has been surf fishing and they're going to the Buchan Caves.
She also notes the jetty doesn't look like this anymore and the photo is out of date.

One of my favourite postcards in my personal collection shows a country boy and his working dog from rural Quebec (probably the Gaspe region). I love the close-up of the dog harness and the dog cart as well as the two planks that serve as a bridge over the roadside ditch.

This weeks #tbt postcard is from 1966 and shows the former War Memorial Auditorium (built in 1963). Today the Hynes Convention Center , built in 1988 sits in this location.
