Check this #vintageSewingMachine out! This is (not my) Singer 7-33. The tiny-looking machine behind it is a Singer 27! The current owner says the head alone weighs 167 pounds (more than 75 kg!)

It was quite dirty when I found it. Obviously has been in the charity shop for some time. Full of dust bunnies! But beside that it looked to be in great condition.
It has its box lid, accessories box full with accessories and bobbins, and the manual! 🤩
Which made it a very good find.

When I started cleaning it yesterday I realized though that the pressure foot bar was stuck 😱
No way to lower the foot. So... No way to sew....

The treadle legs need to be stripped and repainted, and the cabinet could stand to be refinished. But my hackerspace is interested in taking her as a donation if I can get her working, and boy howdy is she a delicious piece of history.
