Well, I've really been enjoying re-discovering Irene Reid. I've had her three early '60's #Verve albums for 10+ years, but hadn't bothered getting
the 1967 Clyde Otis produced "A Man Only Does (What A Woman Makes Him Do)".

It's a soul/blues album that definitely features Reid at her best. The arrangements and productions can be barely heard over her voice. Just Epic. #Vinyl2Digital

I don't own any of Freddie's Atlantic albums, except "Songmy" which I wrote about recently and this has 2x tracks from that.

Finishing out the day with an early #Vinyl2Digital conversion, from 2005 Jimmy Smith's "Got My Mojo Workin'" - original 1996 vinyl converted. Not my best conversion, probably needs redoing. Don't play it all that often, as good as Smith is, the Hammond B3 just doesn't rock my boat.
