One of my favorite record stores to visit regularly does NOT have a public restroom.
However they love me so much as a customer and know me so well now, that they always make an exception for me.
Do you guys have ANY idea how intimidating and nerve wracking it is to piss in front of Elvis Presley?

White Pony
2020 Europe reissue

A sonic masterpiece.
I rip through the DEFTONES discography start to finish once every couple of years, and I always get excited when I get to White Pony.
I think this was when they separated themselves from all of the shitty bands they were being lumped in with, and showed the world that they weren’t just tenants of that horrible invented genre.
Just such a satisfying heavy (and nuanced) record.

Today, while out digging for #vinylrecords , I stumbled across a shoebox FULL of empty paper #japanese #45rpm sleeves.
I found them absolutely striking, and interesting art pieces. I offered the owner of the place some money for them, but he just told me to take them.
These two are my favorite of the bunch, particularly the alien girl one.
These are going in frames and going up on my studio wall. Aren’t they beautiful?

Die #Schallplattensammlung steigt langsam aber sicher wieder etwas.
Erstaunt bin ich immer wieder über den maximalen Wert der Sammlung.
Ich schätze mal etwas unter dem mittlere Wert wäre der realistische zu erwartende Wert. Damit wäre das aber trotzdem locker 30% mehr wie ich bisher investiert habe.
Und die aktuell teuerste Platte im Bestand ist eine die nicht mal so richtig gut zum hören ist 😅
