Este es otro de esos grupos que me tenían cautivado en los #noventa y que con la llegada de las descargas #p2p o qué se yo la razón empezaron a perder importancia en mis escuchas. Mi hermano ha sido siempre hiper fan y disfruté mucho cuando trajo #SongsOfFaithAndDevotion, #Ultra o el recopilatorio #TheSingles8698 con su correspondiente documental en #VHS.

Hace poquitas semanas aproveché una oferta y me llevé esta reedición del disco inmediatamente anterior a todos ellos, nada menos que el que incluye #PersonalJesus o #EnjoyTheSilence, razones más que suficientes para hacerse con él. Bueno, y la alucinante #Halo.

La verdad es que es una banda que engaña: capaz de meterte un single himno llena estadios por las orejas para descubrir que el álbum es una caraja mental del compositor del grupo, #MartinLGore, llena de momentos orquestados por el mismo Casio PT20 que tenía tu hermana, completando una suerte de atmósfera melódica con la que te dejas llevar pero no te emocionas. Ni tan mal, oye.

El #Exciter era aún más deprimente y me acompañó en mi año viviendo en Valencia, lejos de mi familia madrileña. El mencionado Ultra, que pillé tirado de precio en su edición especial CD+DVD, era mucho más potente y mi ex, maltratadora fan del body pump, despreció inmisericorde cuando lo puse de fondo para pintar el salón, nada más mudarnos.

Lo volveré a poner.

It is the first time since #violator I bought the Vinyl. It was worth it, I’m enjoying this masterpiece like in the old times.;-)And I have to say, it gets better every time playing it.
I am so happy they did this album, after all what happened last year.
The Setlist although in #Sacramento was a little bit disappointing. Why are they keep playing #Apainthatimusedto in that horrible Remix-Version. I mean in that Version it isn’t really a #depechemode Song - please some Surprises.

I'm gonna be having a Depeche Mode day... so expect lots of music posts.

#Violator by #DepecheMode is one of the best albums ever. Despite the fact that it was released 33 years ago, it still sounds as fresh as if it had been released yesterday.

And the last book of the Vs in the Great #ComicBook Re-inventorying Initiative is a good one with a great cast of folks involved with it.
