@rsaccani Unfortunately, regex is applied server-side, and trusting users to write efficient expressions isn't acceptable. Computing pattern cost can be tricky and then we'd end up with a ceiling on the number of filters per population or per person.

This instance is using glitch-soc and they've improved filters a bit.

Regex filtering could probably be added client-side with userscripts...
