More interior detail added to this week. The rear door now looks more complete and I've added the dials inside which control (and display) the rotor and carry mechanism positions. Will I ever finish? I keep finding new parts to add in! :) @tnmoc @bletchleypark

The Bombe had up to 8 drum types available, colour-coded to show the different wiring of the real rotors: I red; II maroon; III green; IV yellow; V brown; VI cobalt (blue); VII jet (black); VIII silver. We'll need to choose from all of them to put on .

The final set of controls are now in place on . The switches on the right of the Bombe control which of the 3 chains (the rows of drums) are active, which step and which terminal has the current injected.

This week, I've been finding out about the "letterbox" display which is situated on the right-hand side of the Turing-Welchman Bombe. For a stop, it shows a possible steckerbrett position (the plugboard cables on the front of Enigma).

The basic wiring layout on the rear of is now complete and labelled. I've also been working on enabling the bridges which connect together the input & output of two "Letchworth Enigmas" (1 set of 3 drums which make up an Enigma).

We'll leave messing with the drums on & play with the wiring! The "menu" was wired on the rear of the machine using double ended 26-wire connectors. If you've seen Virtual Enigma, you may recognise my wire physics in action!

The Bombe couldn't step the middle row of drums quick enough to keep sensing so for every 3 revolutions of the top drums, the 2nd set would only carry twice. I've been working on duplicating this on - details in the video.

I've been working hard learning how the Turing-Welchman Bombe does it's thing & coding it into .
Finally got some results this morning so let's pop some rotors on and have a quick demo of how it's looking so far. Hope you like it!
