What can Dutch and American students teach each other in a #VirtualExchange? We explore this using XR + #3Drendering in our anthro 200 course at the University of Groningen 🥽 where students in the US and NL will explore global commodities using 3D rendering

We are piloting a VR-based virtual exchange w Elon University University.

Students on both sides of the Atlantic will make 3D scans of everyday objects with their smartphones + upload them into a VR library. They will reflect on the raw materials in common objects + consider the lives of those who extracted them.

Loved the second @ELIVE_project teachers' voices training workshop with @bpardoel. The pupil feedback audio clip was a great endorsement for #virtualexchange in #virtualworlds: it made her comfortable with making L2 mistakes and as Bart said 'that' is learning.
