Having seen Fantasy Grounds, I'm not as impressed with it in contrast TBH. Our DM sometimes loses tokens. Explorable darkness never seems to get used. Maybe he's just not a power user, but I know exactly how to do all those things with Roll20

Maybe Foundry is better? But TBH I'm fine w/ the subscription model if it keeps getting me features

Slicing up a starship that myself and a fellow player rigged up for a game this evening for a Virtual Table Top. Any guesses how many hour(s) are left before game time?

This ship was designed in a odd way: I did some initial sketches for this ship with purpose in mind, then I had a player take it and make it in Blender, then I took their Blender file and rotoscoped the ship back in. The effect was superb. I'm happy.

One of the fun things I got to experience at virtual #gencon2022 was #virtualtabletop platforms that are not #role20 or #fantasygrounds. No shade to them, I just like options and sometimes smaller platforms can serve niche purposes. One was https://app.playrole.com/ which just announced #starfleetadventures support (see at https://app.playrole.com/games/star-trek-adventures/preview ) I liked them enough to boost the announcement here.

Menyr, un projet de plate-forme de jeu de rôle en ligne (VTT) promettant des graphismes somptueux et une création d'environnements facile, est mené par un studio français, NOG. Lancé le 30 août, son financement participatif sur Kickstarter a d'ores et déjà atteint son objectif de base et débloqué un premier palier. Le projet m'a convaincu et je suis très curieux de voir ce qu'il va donner.
