There is a world of difference between talking the talk, & walking the #sustainable walk

If you try to convince someone you're not just a shit-talker in a conversation with other #activists, your argument is discredited because now you're virtue signaling.
But when you're not virtue signaling, you're discredited as a troll who knows nothing.
If you do know something that is specifically relevant, making a verifiable statement can be really risky.

Speaking as a #Black #trans person, I'm seeing a lot of what looks like #VirtueSignaling regarding #BlackTwitter and #WhitePrivilege.

How about instead of calling for everyone to either leave #Twitter or stay and fight, and judging those who don't agree with us, we try using "I" statements instead.

I left #Twitter yesterday, because I've never liked it much and it's become increasingly hostile toward marginalized folks like me. I'm happy here on #Mastodon. So far!
