Is anyone else planning to sign up for the #Visible wearable/monthly plan?

Even though I already use the #Oura ring, I can’t wear that while working. I am game to try the #Polar wearable bc it goes on the upper arm, so I can wear it at work.

I tried wearing the Apple Watch around my ankle while working, but it doesn’t give good good readings there. 🤷🏽 Also, it’s too inflexible and yelly.

Anyone here use Visible by Verizon as their mobile phone carrier?

@felipebaez next time you’re in the US you might try #Visible for prepaid 5G UW data service. I recently switched from Verizon postpaid and Visible is much faster! (even though they are the same network! I didn’t realize my older cheaper Verizon plan was limited to only slower “nationwide” 5G.) the top $45/mo plan is 50GB of full speed 5G UW data, then unlimited throttled 5G after that. visible.com

@bigzaphod same thing happened to #visible and #verizon did a $5 bump then pulled gatekeeper on actual 5G service representing a $20 increase. Still cheaper than Verizon.

I used to be on #Verizon (proper). It was beautiful, and expensive. I switched to #Visible, and it was good enough at first. Then it got worse. Then it kinda stopped working until I upgraded. Then I upgraded. And latency was better but the pipe is still brutal enough I can’t stream home security cams.

Now I’m test driving #tmobile. Speeds are wonderful. But it doesn’t work in the #middleOfNowhere, where I live.

Woe is me.

@campbell Yes, I’ve been on the Visible “legacy plan” for a few years now too. I upgraded to the new $30 plan this past week - it seems about the same as ‘the old network.’ Debating if adding an additional $15 a month to my bill is worth it for the Ultrawideband access.

Does anyone have any first-hand experience with #Visible? I’m thinking of upgrading to the plan that includes 5G Ultraband but curious if anyone has seen a meaningful difference.

Another #feditips for #newcomers: If you want to make a post from others #visible to more people, you must #boost = #share it.

As there are no algorithms, the stars = favourites are only for you (a list with your favourites in the menu) and the writer (positive feedback). This interaction doesn't make the post more visible!

Example: If you boost this, your followers can see it, too. If you click the star, I know that you like it, but that's all.
