Digby #Nova Scotia is a town on Nova Scotia's Bay of Fundy coast. It is home to a large fishing fleet of scallop draggers or trawlers. This type of boat is named as the boat drags a device known as the Digby Drag - a metal frame with teeth with a net attached. The entire eastern coast of Canada was buffeted by gale force winds.

Arriving at Margaretsville #NovaScotia on the Bay of Fundy shores, I was immediately hit by the winds. At the wharf, where at low tide, the fishing boats were resting on the ocean floor until the tide returns to flood the seashore. In the distance, the roar of the surf was almost deafening. in the area of #NovaScotia referred to as the French Shore, is the magnificent Eglise Saint Bernard. Eglise is the French word for #church. Started in 1910, & finished 32 years later, the church is an example of Gothic Architecture & has walls made of granite 3 feet thick.
