I updated to the latest JAWS version today. Disappointingly, the dialog boxes which appeared during the process were not accessible. I could activate the buttons, but could not access the text tellling me why I needed to use the buttons. That’s pretty poor from an accessibility company. #SeeingAI solved the problem, but it should never have arisen in the first place.

Just noticed that in the latest version of the JAWS screen reader (JAWS 2023), UI Automation live regions are now announced; they weren't in JAWS 2022. Thanks #Vispero. Now I don't have to compromise on the UIA implementation in #AccessKit by using notifications where live regions should be used. #accessibility
