OK, this time we’re not kidding and not mistaken. 🤦♀️
🕑 Daylight Saving Time begins on Sunday, March 12 at 2:00am.
Get ready to reset those appliances, timers, remote controls and anything else with a clock with visual info from your Aira agent.
And yes, people still have those devices that need to be set by hand. Then there are those of us who wake up an hour late and wonder, “Does anybody really know what time it is?”

Ever wonder what Aira stands for?
Aira (pronounced eye ruh) was founded in 2015 to uniquely address the needs of people who are blind or have low vision by providing access to visual information thereby providing independence and agency.
Initially, the AI in our name stood for Artificial Intelligence and the RA stood for Remote Assistance. Although we still utilize some artificial intelligence as the backbone of our service, it's not our primary focus. Now with millions of calls to date, the importance of a human in the loop, providing access to information that is sometimes rather nuanced, is abundantly clear. We have reinterpreted the meaning of our name, AI now stands for Access to Information.
Aira is visual interpreting, it’s access to information through remote assistance.

If you’ve attended one of our monthly Explorer calls you probably got a notice that the call will take place in one week.
This is incorrect. We’ve pushed the March Explorer Call out to Wednesday, March 22 at 6:00pm Eastern time. We will be attending the #CSUNATC23 next Wednesday so won’t be available for the call.
On the 22nd though we’ll bring you news from that conference and maybe even a few guest stars to talk tech.
Information about the march call will be out on Monday, March 20.
We're looking forward to meeting many of you in Anaheim. #VisualInterpreting #blind #LowVision #AiraVI
