I did another 28km today! starting to feel not as sore when I am done! Body is getting used to it. Took the flatter/longer route. Much more enjoyable physically and still a really good workout. Being nearer traffic isn't as nice as being in the trees most of the way but it's a tradeoff. If there was a "New School Year Resolution" this morning was it. A first time 14km bike ride from where I park the car and normally hop on the bus to work. Took 65min. (bus is 20-30min) Hoping to get that down to 45min. I took a 5min detour/wrong way this morning so that part will be easy to knock off. :) We’ll see what it's like on the way back. Vast majority was on a dedicated walk/bike trail, though I must say whoever designated it a bike trail and then put 50m long 20% grade hills in some parts was an evil evil person.
