On my way to #vivacalle and found bike lane done better

good morning to you too. I'm going to ride the #vivaCalle here with my #ebike. We open about 6 miles of our city streets up to people for 5 hrs today,

I hope the idea of #bikebus starts popping up in other cities. In the #sfba we have #vivaCalle but they only do it a few times a year.

#VivaCalle is back with a east/west route through the middle of downtown San Jose. Between #RooseveltPark and #BascomAve this a super flat, easy route. 4.8 miles along which you get a great snapshot of downtown, including #CityHall and so many great food businesses to keep you fueled up.

I have done this event before and it's super fun! A third event is planned for September 10th. If you can't make this one.

I will be taking the VTA up from Blossom Hill with my new folding electric bike. I have friends that will be riding traditional bikes with their kids and another friend who will be on his One Wheel, electric unicycle.

today I'm going to ride the streets of San Jose. Its kinda fun to ride down a divided 4-lane street with no cars; just folks walking, riding, rollerskating.
There is food and entertainment at some of the larger intersections. Its a good neighborhood building event.
