We had a blast today at #VivaCalleSJ in Japantown! We had great pizza and beer at Jtown Pizza, and got to stop by the #VTA booth. It was great to see that so many people had stopped by and given feedback about what they’d like to see in transit in #SanJose and #SantaClaraCounty. Unsurprisingly, the most votes when to more and faster transit. People want #PublicTransit!

I’m looking forward to getting out and enjoying #VivaCalleSJ today! If you’re in #SanJose come check out what it can be like when we give streets back to people instead of sacrificing space to cars.

Trip report; Spent the day with friends #eBike riding the #VivaCalleSJ route. It was a great day to be outside in the open streets of San Jose, CA.

Beautiful day out on Santa Clara Street with bikers, strollers, scooters, families, and even a guy in a motorized lawn chair. #VivaCalleSJ #SanJose #OpenStreets

The streets of San Jose,CA USA are alive with the sound of people. A warm sunny day brought the neighbors out for a nice day at #vivacallesj #sfbay #bike

Its event like this that will help build or #rebuild our communities. You should get involved in your local activities or start one if there are none. Its one way that you can battle the destruction of our #democracy. Its also a great family activity.

It was a great day at Viva Calle San Jose. 20 miles in total.The activity area were full of folks but the streets between were easy biking. A good time was had by all.
