I just had an email from #Vivalidi (browser) to join their Mastodon instance.

"We would like to announce the launch of Vivaldi Social, a new instance on Mastodon, a federated social network alternative to those networks controlled by large corporations."

Vivaldi accounts have been registered on the instance Others are invited to join.

It's an interesting move by a tech company. Not sure how it sits with the #fediverse. #marketing
