#tinytapeout For some reason, the Verilator #linter used in the GitHub actions doesn't know about the Sky130 standard cells. However, I do directly instantiate some inverter cells in my ring oscillator TRNG design.
Consequence: the action fails because the linter raises an error.
Solution? Disable the linter.

The ultimate yak shave: to implement its last generation of #LispMachines, Symbolics developed a complete #EDA toolset in #CommonLisp called NS that enabled them to design and verify their ASICs, gate arrays, and boards from architecture to photomasks for manufacturing.

What are the step to print its own ASIC chip? Do we have to provide a file in a specific format? What are the specific masks to provide? Or only the VeriLog files? Anything else to provide?
And, also, is it expensive? What kind of prices, for simple circuit, do we have to print, for testing purpose? And with what kind of quantity?
I already know how to design a CMOS circuit, I just want to print one, just to discover. In my case, the chip will be used to forward digital signals in a high frequency 😄
